The link at the right is to the College Board website where you can find coursework requirements for NCAA athletics and NCAA scholarships. You will also find minimum GPA requirements and ACT/SAT score requirements. According to the College Board website, “The NCAA is the governing body of many intercollegiate sports. Each college and university regulated by the NCAA has established rules on eligibility, recruiting, and financial aid, and falls into one of the three membership divisions (Divisions I, II, and III). Divisions are based on school size and the scope of their athletic programs and scholarships.” Student athletes should register on the NCAA website during their junior year of high school, as they need to be cleared by the Clearinghouse to be eligible for athletic scholarships.
